LIVERMORE FALLS — Two vehicles were destroyed Friday morning in a rear-end collision on Park Street/Route 133, Livermore Falls police officer Troy Reed said.

Talon Hutchinson, 20, of Livermore Falls was stopped in the southbound lane to turn into his driveway when an SUV driven by Howard Smart, 44, of Livermore Falls hit the back of Hutchinson’s Chevrolet Cavalier, Reed said.

Hutchinson complained of elbow pain and was checked by NorthStar EMS ambulance personnel but declined to be taken to a hospital, Reed said.

Livermore Falls Fire Rescue Department also responded to the 8:50 a.m. crash.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

No tickets were issued, Reed said.
