WINSLOW — A person associated with the child care program at Winslow Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Superintendent Peter Thiboutot.

In a letter posted Wednesday to the district’s website, Thiboutot said the nursing staff and members of the administration had completed contact tracing and were notifying those considered close contacts.

The district did not release the name of the person who had tested positive or specify how many people were considered close contacts.

Since September, the district has had 10 positive cases of COVID-19 infection.
