AUGUSTA — The Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine holds a SAM-ILA (Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine — Institute for Legislative Action) Congress every two years to help inform the public, legislators and outdoor partners about the important legislative issues of the time.
This event, scheduled for 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the alliance headquarters at 205 Church Hill Road, is designed to be informational and educational, while recognizing diverse opinions, according to a news release from the alliance.
