ATHENS — Athens Community School hosted its first Math Madness Family Night event March 12, bringing students and families together for an evening of math games, problem-solving, and hands-on activities.

This event was backed by these community sponsors:
• Brickyard Hollow of Skowhegan, who provided 60 pizzas.
• Athens Corner Store, Pizza Hut and Madison House of Pizza, who also donated pizzas.
• Pine State Drilling, whose donation funded goodie bags for all students.
• Cipp’s Power Line Construction, who contributed to providing chips and drinks.
• Maine Woods Pellet Company, who donated a gift card that was raffled off to one family.
