I thank your editorial board for fulfilling the major role a newspaper should fill for us, that of reporting the facts.
In your statement demonstrating the harm created for real people on every level of our society by the current national government’s unpredictable behavior (“‘Whiplash and worry’ continues to plague Maine,” March 16), you have only described reality, not twisted it to serve partisan ends.
Your other statement last Sunday outlined what harm on an already fragile health care “system” the recent Republican vote in Augusta will have. Again, this is not opinion, this is a factual report. Stating the truth in an atmosphere such as our current one is an act of courage and I commend you.
