TOPSHAM — The Great Falls Model Railroad Club’s annual Spring Train Show is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Mt. Ararat High School, 68 Eagles Way.
The event will showcase a variety of model trains in different scales, all built by railroaders from across Maine. Visitors can watch these trains operate on intricate layouts, offering a glimpse into the artistry and craftsmanship of model railroading, according to a news release from Bryn Doyle with the club.
Vendors from throughout New England will offer a selection of new and used model railroad equipment, books and other train-related memorabilia. They can answer questions and provide advice.
Refreshments will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Mt. Ararat Booster’s Club, supporting local school and sports programs.
Admission is $5 for adults, with free entry for children ages 12 and younger.
