RICHMOND — The Carrabec softball team scored six times in the sixth inning Thursday to rally for a 16-14 win over Richmond.
Karen Baker, Ava Welch and Aiyana Tibbetts each drove in two runs for Carrabec, which made the most of its eight hits and 11 walks.
Aubrey Swift homered twice had three RBI for Richmond, while Emma Valley (double) and Marion Roberts (three hits) knocked in two runs apiece.
BASEBALL
BELFAST 8, MOUNT VIEW 3: Joseph Parker went 4 for 4 and had 2 RBI to lead the Lions (3-0) to a victory over the Mustangs (0-2) in Thorndike.
Jackson Faulkingham and had two hits, including a double, and had 3 RBI for Belfast, while Aiden Howard had two hits, a double and an RBI. Gary Gale earned the win on the mound for the Lions, striking out eight batters.
Ben Grassi smacked a triple for Mount View. Tanner Oathout and Kaden Bradeen each had an RBI.
