Windham’s stretch of four victory in three days, including a mercy-rule win over last week’s No. 2, has boosted the Eagles from fourth to second place in the Varsity Maine softball poll. York keeps winning, and the unbeaten Wildcats are alone third after being tied with Windham a week ago.

Cheverus is still No. 1. Hermon jumps from eighth to sixth, and Oxford Hills hops into the rankings this week at No. 7.

The Varsity Maine softball poll is based on games played before June 3, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
