‘The Two Gentlemen of Verona’

An evening of Shakespeare performed outdoors can be found at the Camden Amphitheater with “The Two Gentlemen of Verona.” The Bard’s comedy spins the tale of a gent named Valentine and his quest for love in Milan. When Valentine finds it with a woman named Sylvia, his bestie Proteus swoops in to try and steal her away. Find out how it all unfolds in a show that also features a canine character named Crab and some clever cross-dressing. Note: On July 20 and 21, catch the show at Library Park in Bath.

Brownstone Brews & Bites

Victoria Mansion is teaming up with Allagash Brewing for its annual summer soiree. Funds will support the mansion’s historic preservation and educational efforts. All partygoers will receive a souvenir Allagash chalice. Cellardoor Winery and Green Bee soda will also be serving up drinks on the lawn, with tasty bites from Cheese Louise. A live soundtrack will be provided by local folk-rock act The Dapper Gents.

The vibes are guaranteed to be positive on Saturday night in Sidney. Michael Franti & Spearhead’s latest album, “Welcome to the Family” was released in March, and there are several other albums of tunes to choose from. Sing along as the band plays “The Sound of Sunshine,” “Life is Better With You,” “Say Hey (I Love You)” and other revered reggae-pop-folk fusion songs.  Singer-songwriter Niko Moon opens the show.

St. Vincent

Earlier this year, St. Vincent won a trio of Grammys, including Best Alternative Music Album for “All Born Screaming.” The other two were Best Rock Song for “Broken Man” and Best Alternative Music Performance for “Flea.” The artist, whose real name is Annie Clark, can add these to the three previous ones she’s won since releasing her debut album “Marry Me” in 2007. Clark is known for her guitar mastery and innovative approach to music-making. With a fusion of music and performance art, a St. Vincent show is always a mind-blowing experience.

Lost and Found Market

Lost and Found Market is a pop-up event that offers shoppers the chance to scoop up vintage items from more than 70 vendors under one roof. There will also be plenty of food and drinks available. For an early start, $8 tickets will get you in from either 11 a.m.-1 p.m. or 1-3 p.m. From 3-6 p.m., entry is free, and for 12 and under, it’s free the entire time. Bring your reusable tote bag and be ready to score all sorts of goodies, including records, decor, jewelry, housewares, accessories and a ton of clothing. There will also be a variety of upcyclers who have a flair for making wares using vintage, antique and secondhand materials.
