The Portland Sea Dogs’ game Sunday against the Richmond Flying Squirrels was cancelled by rain in the second inning at Richmond, Va.
The contest will not be made up as the teams will not face each other again the rest of the season.
The Sea Dogs were leading 2-0 when the came was delayed, then called off about an hour later.
Portland returns to Hadlock Field on Tuesday for the opener of a six-game series against the Altoona Curve.
