Micah James Plaisted
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Micah James Plaisted, who left us far too soon on July 13, 2025. Born on Sept. 18, 1985, Micah brought compassion, curiosity, and love to every chapter of his life.
He is survived by his father Bruce and stepmother Kathy, mother Lana, his brothers, Jay K. Duplessie and Sean A. Duplessie and his sister, Danae E. Plaisted, who will carry his memory with enduring love and gratitude.
Micah was a gifted athlete who excelled in hockey and soccer. He especially enjoyed skateboarding and snowboarding.
Micah’s life touched many—whether through quiet acts of kindness or shared laughter that lingered long after. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.
A memorial service will be held to honor Micah’s life on Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. at the South China Community Church, located in South China, Maine. All who knew Micah are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating his life
