Topsham Fair, Aug. 5-10

Skowhegan State Fair, Aug. 7-16

The nation’s oldest consecutively running agricultural fair — at 207 years old — is being held at 33 Constitution Ave. in Skowhegan. skowheganstatefair.com 

Acton Fair, Aug. 21-24

Piscataquis Valley Fair, Aug. 21-24

Washington County Fair, Aug. 23-24

Windsor Fair, Aug. 23-Sept. 1
