Brynnlea Chaisson, Gardiner senior forward: Chaisson, a Franklin Pierce commit, is one of the area’s most talented offensive players. She set a school record with 25 goals last season, and she has the speed and stickhandling skills to shake even top defenders.

Lilly Clark, Erskine Academy senior midfielder: Clark was one of the most prolific scorers in the area last year, notching 24 goals along with seven assists en route to first-team recognition on the KVAC’s all-conference team for Class B.

Helen Dineen, Cony junior forward/midfielder: On a team that saw half of its starting lineup graduate, Dineen will be counted on to provide enough offense to help the Rams remain the contender they’ve been in recent seasons.

Mya Dixon, Lawrence senior forward/midfielder: With Maddie Niles gone, Lawrence will lean more on Dixon, who is fast, agile and dangerous when she gets space in the open field. She’ll play next at Saint Joseph’s College.

Olivia Huri, Winthrop senior midfielder: Playing the center mid position, Huri takes over for Madeline Wagner as the Ramblers’ pivotal player. She controls the game and the flow of the attack, and last year was a first-team all-MVC pick for the four-time Class C champs.

Kali Judkins, Mt. Blue senior midfielder: Judkins earned MFHA All-State and unanimous KVAC first-team recognition last year, finishing with eight goals and three assists. She’s the Cougars’ leader in points, but she plays well in other areas of the field, too.

Chloe Masse, Messalonskee senior midfielder: Few stand out on a strong Eagles team more than Masse, an attacking center mid who was second-team all-KVAC last year and has steadily progressed through her career. Coach Riley Field said she has “elite-level skills.”

Grace Mayo, Skowhegan senior midfielder: A verbal commit to Bates College, Mayo returns as the key piece in the middle of the River Hawks’ operation. She was a second-team all-KVAC selection and is a highly skilled player with the ball on her stick.

Lillian Smith, Skowhegan junior back: Smith follows players like Bhreagh Kennedy, Laney LeBlanc and Sydalia Savage as defenders who have the versatility to play all over the field. Her smarts and fearlessness also serve her well as the River Hawks’ flyer.

Sophia Ventimiglia, Messalonskee senior forward: A returning first-team all-KVAC selection, Ventimiglia will be a top scoring threat for the Eagles and one of the best in the area at finding the net. She’s a good athlete with good size and length in the circle.
