Ross Fichthorn, Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale: Gained 141 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown. Also caught a 14-yard pass. On defense, he made nine tackles, three solo and two for losses in win over Oak Hill.
Jayden Franco, Sanford: Ran 15 times for 80 yards and two TDs, and made four catches for 98 yards, including a screen pass he took for a 71-yard touchdown, sprinting down the right sideline and breaking three tackles on his way to the end zone to put the Spartans in the lead for good in victory over Biddeford.
Michael Loubier, Winslow: Freshman ran the ball 10 times for 213 yards and four touchdowns in his high school debut to help the Black Raiders roll past Maranacook.
Chase McGrane, Gardiner: Caught three passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns, while also making eight tackles (three for loss) in 31-0 win over Oceanside.
Jaiden Meehan, Lake Region: Senior QB rushed for four touchdowns and threw a 26-yard scoring pass in the Lakers’ 50-14 eight-man Large School win against Ellsworth.
Colin Moran, Bonny Eagle: Moran completed 7 of 15 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns, and added 55 rushing yards on eight carries in the Scots’ 48-6 win at South Portland. The senior QB took a seat after his third TD pass made the score 42-0.
Parker Morin, Cony: Senior quarterback completed 8 of 15 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns (all in the first half) in 47-0 win at Messalonskee.
Luke Piper, Greely: Piper completed 7 of 8 passes, racked up 228 yards of offense (150 yards passing, 78 rushing), threw for three touchdowns and raced 77 yards on a scoring run before taking a seat at halftime of a 42-0 Class C win against York in the Rangers’ return to 11-man football.
Austin West, Kennebunk: Senior linebacker terrorized Falmouth, making four tackles for loss and a quarterback sack to lead the Rams to a 14-10 victory against the defending champion Navigators.
