Wins over two teams in last week’s top 10 have moved Camden Hills up a spot to No. 1 in the Varsity Maine boys soccer poll. The Windjammers defeated then-No. 3 Lewiston 5-3 on the road Tuesday and then-No. 8 Edward Little 1-0 at home on Friday.
The No. 1-ranked team in last week’s poll, Scarborough, is now second, only one point behind Camden Hills.
Falmouth and Gorham each moved up three spaces, to No. 3 and 4, respectively. South Portland, which is off to a 3-0 start, joins the rankings at No. 9.
The Varsity Maine boys soccer poll is based on games played before Sept. 16, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
