PORTLAND — The visiting New Hampshire Fisher Cats returned to their clubhouse following Friday night’s 6-2 Eastern League baseball victory over the Sea Dogs to find several items missing, including cash, wallets and personal electronic devices.

Lt. Gary Hutcheson of the Portland Police said his department was notified at 10:30 Friday night of the apparent theft. He said there was no sign of forced entry but that the Portland Expo, which houses visiting baseball teams, “is pretty cavernous down below.”

Hutcheson said the missing items belonged to four members of the New Hampshire ballclub.
