University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H is leading a three-part, virtual series on climate change action for ages 12-18.
Sessions are set for 4:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 28, Nov. 14 and Nov. 11 via Zoom.
Participants can learn about climate change from global and local perspectives and explore opportunities for individual action to make a difference. This will involve hands-on, minds-on learning to unpack this big topic, according to a news release from Sarah Sparks with the extension.
The series is hosted by 4-H staff joined by an international graduate student with expertise in climate and public policy. Participation is free, but donations are accepted.
