Alan Edgecomb
LITCHFIELD – Alan Edgecomb died Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, at his home in Litchfield surrounded by family and friends. He was born Oct. 10, 1936, the son of Fred and Isabelle (Pelton) Edgecomb. He attended Litchfield Academy and Gardiner High School and served in the US Army.
Al worked at various jobs and retired from UPS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and watching his favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and the Celtics. Mostly, he loved being with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy (Tinkham); daughter, Pamela Lovering (Stephen), son, Matthew (partner, Kali); grandchildren, Michael, Tony, Thomas, Ashley, Peter; and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Craig, and grandson, Jeremy Tanguay.
The family would especially like to thank VA nurse, Melanie, and hospice nurse, Heather, for their care and attention during his home care.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 9th from 2 – 4 p.m. at Doolin’s Pub, 495 Huntington Hill Road, Litchfield, Maine. Arrangements by BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine.
