WATERVILLE — Art in the Park: Animal Self Portraits was held last week in Castonguay Square.
The event was presented by Waterville Creates in collaboration with the Waterville Public Library and the Colby College Museum of Art.
The workshop was inspired by Bernard Langlais, a Maine artist who often imagined himself as a lion. Artists were encouraged to create animal self-portraits that reflect their personalities, favorite creatures or beloved pets.
