NEW LONDON, N.H. — Dakota Duplissie one-timed a shot past keeper Nick Austin late in the second half to help lift No. 4 Thomas College past top-seeded Colby-Sawyer 2-1 in a North Atlantic Conference semifinal Tuesday afternoon.

Duplissie, a former Maranacook standout, scored his team-leading 17th goal for the Terriers (10-4-3), who advanced to the conference title game for a third consecutive year.

Thomas will play at Husson on Saturday for a chance to reach the NCAA Division III tournament.

Tre Ming scored his eighth goal of the season early in the first half to give Thomas a 1-0 lead before Colby-Sawyer (11-6-2) tied it up before the half.

WATERVILLE — Albion native Jess Poulin made three saves to help Husson edge Johnson State 2-0 in a NAC semifinal Monday. The Eagles (12-7-0) will play Castleton State on Wednesday.
