SNAPSHOT: Paddle power

Paddlers head across Minnehonk Lake in Mount Vernon at the start of the third annual 30-Mile River Watershed Association Paddle Trek early Saturday morning. About 40 people participated in the trip from Mount Vernon to Wayne   village.

SNAPSHOT: Face painting

SNAPSHOT: Quite a display

Vicki Tottle, of Limerick, one of the many volunteers hanging some of the over 700 quilts, that will be on display over the weekend, Wednesday afternoon at the Augusta Civic Center. The 34th annual Maine Quilts show runs through Sunday and also includes workshops, exhibits and vendors. For more information check www.mainequilts.org.
