AUGUSTA — When it came time to name the boisterous march he composed 51 years ago, Augusta native Leo Pepin, the son of immigrant parents, didn’t hesitate — it simply had to be named after the motto of the state he was proud to call home.

Fire on Hospital Street in Augusta
AUGUSTA – Firefighters are on the scene of a reported structure fire at an apartment building at 208 Hospital Street. The fire was reported about 2:45 this afternoon. The structure is reported to be a two-story, wood-frame apartment building. Hospital Street has been closed to traffic in the area.
