Redesignating more than $400,000 toward the project should allow the town to complete the baseball field portion of a larger plan for an athletic complex, the project’s clerk of works said.

The news of Dawn DiBlasi’s resignation after one year as town manager came at the end of a contentious 3 1/2-hour select board meeting Tuesday.
