Fairfield-based school district working to replace water fixtures after testing shows high levels of lead in some places
Maine School Administrative District 49 in recent weeks has tested sinks and drinking fountains at district schools for lead levels, with 16 of the 26 fixtures at Albion Elementary School above recommended levels.
